Three years ago we took our 3 year old, Isaac, to see Monster Jam. We brought protective coverings for his ears and wondered what he'd think. All the way through he sat perfectly still which was super weird for him. At half time we went to the bathroom and I was concerned that he was scared. He and Tim emerged a few minutes later and he talked. non. stop. about all those super cool trucks. We'd mistaken his awe for fear and this little boy was hooked on big trucks.
We even bought the souvenir program which he poured over for the next year until the next time he could go. We've been going ever since and this year Chase got to go too. Chase is our reallllllllly mellow kiddo and we wondered whether his fear would be real fear. We were also wrong! Even though these trucks are huge, both boys had an awesome time and to me it's totally worth it.
Although I know it's about the monster trucks I also really enjoy the other parts of the show like the quad racing and motorbikes.
This robot was also entertaining and ate a car! A little girl near us commented,
"I wonder who's car that is? poor person, they're going to be disappointed!"
Yuppers Monster Jam you've got another fan!
